Seeking Female Actor for Emotional Role in Passion Project
"embrace the messiness in love and connection" Drama / Romance / Experimental A young couple navigates the highs and lows of a relationship, learning to hold on – and let go – as they embrace the messiness of love and connection. The film drifts from connection, conflict, to reflection — from laughter in a field, to arguing in their kitchen, to being left alone at a house party. The goal is to make something cinematic, built on emotion and music. My focus as a director is on performance and energy, as if the viewer is experiencing it themselves. The main takeaway from this is to capture what people feel but often don’t say.
1 role
Expressive and emotionally vulnerable. She shares a deep emotional connection with the male lead, shown through moments of laughter, intimacy, conflict, and disconnection. At times, she’s playful and carefree—throwing grass, laughing in a field, playfully wrestling. Other times, she’s deeply emotional—caught in a shouting match, holding back tears, or frozen in silence. Performance relies on subtle body language and facial expression. Authenticity is important.
