ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Casting three leads for a short film "Bug Eyes". More details are below. About the project: Two neurobiology students steal specialized equipment from their University after they believe they've photographed the human soul, an experiment which seriously injures their subject. With their research in danger, they decides to perform a second, riskier experiment on an unwitting schoolmate in a desperate attempt to prove their discovery. Rate: $50 a day, with food and travel included. Additional information: Shooting planned for July 26th-27th and a rehearsal day on Thursday July 24th. Filming location is close to Metro Prefontaine. Thursday, July 24: Rehearsal period 10AM-4PM. Friday, July 25: Free day. Saturday, July 26 - Sunday, July 27: Filming blocks. 8AM-7PM, lunch at 1PM. The son of highly regarded neurobiologists, he desires to confirm a theory he's had since his childhood: that the soul exists, and can be photographed. Personality: obsessive, unfeeling, narcissistic.
Raymond's project partner, Clarence is the smarter of the two. In his moment of weakness, he's unable to put a stop to the experiment before the consequences become irreversible. Personality: weak-willed, brilliant.
Maria agrees to take part in the experiment to get close to Raymond. When she sees him for the manipulator he is, she refuses to take part, until her personal curiosity brings her back. Personality: principled, introverted.
