(PAID) Louis is a former drug dealer and ex-convict, now dying alone from cancer and alcoholism. He's stubborn, street-wise, full of guilt and shame and an acerbic wit, and knows more than he cares to about the town's deepest secrets. Whiskey-soaked Texan.
(PAID) Karen is a conventional sort of blow-dried soccer Mom...or she used to be before she became horrifically addicted to the mystery drug. Now she's completely lost her mind.
