Seeking talent the "Shakespeare in Hollywood" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: This unique comedy, directed by Nicole Probst and Helen Reikofski, combines many iconic elements of theatre performance. Set in 1934 in the golden age of Hollywood, this script encounters a little Shakespeare (some lines taken more seriously than others), characters based on real-life celebrities, and fast-paced farce. Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script; a bonus for research done on the original characters based in the reality of the time period and how you would depict them on stage. At some point, directors may ask a few of you to recite a little Shakespeare, hear your best Austrian accent, or sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame”. Invitation-only callbacks Wednesday, June 18. Performances are Aug. 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24 - 2025 at the Campus Theatre If interested, please apply.
