Seeking Talents for 'The Most Important Job in the World'
It’s career day at a public Canadian high school, and an all girls home room is shocked when their assigned career day guest isn’t quite what they expected… This ensemble-based play will be performed August 7th-17th at the Nanaimo Fringe Festival. We hope to be able to offer actors a small stipend pending total gate sales. Rehearsals to take place in Nanaimo throughout June and July.
3 roles
Your average, not particularly problematic high school English teacher. Big sports guy. Just trying to get through the day with his classroom of relentlessly opinionated teenage girls.
A stay-at-home mom to three sons. Feminine, soft, perfectly demure; a vessel of unrealized and under utilized ambition. She has wisdom for those who know where to look for it, but learns as much from interacting with the girls as they do from her.
Casting for EIGHT teen girl characters (see casting breakdown in images). These girls are the backbone of the show and should be convincing as 16/17 year olds. The TEENS consist of Jayden, Mack, Iris, Piper, Fleur, Christine, Andie, and Rueben.
