Out-of-work foreman of the stone quarry. Earnest but frustrated working man clinging to a past he’s unable to recreate. Fervid, solid folk/rock voice (Top “G”). "THE SPITFIRE GRILL"

A young small-town policeman with restless intensity and a deep undercurrent of regret for unfulfilled dreams. Strong folk tenor to a “G” (touches an “A”). "THE SPITFIRE GRILL"

Postmistress and busybody, a woman whose prying eyes and sharp tongue serve as a protective shield for a lonely life. Solid singer in mezzo/alto chest range (carries close harmony). "THE SPITFIRE GRILL"

Mid-forties. A mysterious figure who never speaks. Powerful eyes and a very strong sense of his body. "THE SPITFIRE GRILL"

(Baritone) Tremendous depth and a heroic baritone voice; doubles as the writer Cervantes who is a poet, an unconventional thinker, and a restless spirit; as Quixote, he is the “foolish knight” who believes chivalry is alive. (Vocal Range: B2-E4) "MAN OF LA MANCHA"

(Tenor) Doubles as Cervantes’ manservant and Quixote’s sidekick Sancho; he is funny, has a light-hearted spirit, and has a deep and true kindness; his essence is that of caretaker; Depth and subtlety; Sings well, but can have comic voice. (Vocal Range: C3-A4) "MAN OF LA MANCHA"

(Soprano) Has tremendous singing ability with a gutsy belt to a high A; Aldonza is a “savage, dark alley cat”; she is defensive, defiant, and a survivor; she is also wry; however, beneath her tough exterior is a woman with a noble heart who desperately wants to be loved. (Bass) The Governor is the leader of the inmate society in the prison. He is a powerful man who oversees Cervantes’ trial. As the Innkeeper he is skeptical of Don Quixote but kind – A gentle giant. (Vocal Range: G2-C#4) "MAN OF LA MANCHA"

(Baritone) The Duke is a man of “breeding, intelligence, logic”; he is analytical and scientific; he can also be arrogant because he’s usually the smartest person in the room; in this version, he will be a foil to Quixote; feels like a thoughtful leading man. (Chorus singing only) The exasperated wife of the Innkeeper. She sees, and expects the worst of all who enter the inn; especially Quixote. "MAN OF LA MANCHA"

Pop Alto F3-Eb5, Evan's mother, a nurse's aide who attends paralegal school at night, often leaving Evan on his own as a result. "DEAR EVAN HANSEN"

Pop Bari/Tenor G2-G4, A classmate of Evan and high school senior who, like Evan, is also a social outcast with no friends, and a frequent drug user, getting high to cope with his aggressive and violent tendencies. Connor eventually takes his own life during Act 1. His ghost appears in Evan's mind throughout the rest of the musical. "DEAR EVAN HANSEN"

Pop Soprano F3-E5, Connor's younger sister and Evan's longtime crush. She was never close to Connor, even hated him and thought he was a monster, but wishes she had known him better and turns to Evan after he lies and says he was friends with Connor. "DEAR EVAN HANSEN"

Pop Soprano F#3-E5, Connor and Zoe's stay-at-home mother. She is constantly trying to keep her fragile family from falling apart but is often unsuccessful. "DEAR EVAN HANSEN"

Pop Bari/Tenor F#2-G4, Connor and Zoe's busy and distant father. "DEAR EVAN HANSEN"

Pop Soprano F3-E5, Evan's earnest but melodramatic classmate. She is constantly looking for academic and extracurricular activities to boost her collegiate chances. "DEAR EVAN HANSEN"

English, The charming, naïve, and wealthy wife of Tony, Margot has no idea that Tony knows of her past affair with Max, nor does she suspect that Tony is planning to murder her. "DIAL M FOR MURDER"

American, An American murder mystery writer, Maxine had an affair with Margot during the time Tony was playing professional tennis tournaments in America. She is still in love with Margot and comes to visit the couple in London. "DIAL M FOR MURDER"

English, Margot’s husband, Tony is a former professional tennis player who married Margot for her money. He is selfish and arrogant and has an elaborate scheme to murder Margot because of jealousy over a past affair between Margot and Max. "DIAL M FOR MURDER"

English, An old schoolmate of Tony’s and a convicted criminal, Lesgate is now being blackmailed by Tony into murdering Margot. He seems willing to do anything for money. "DIAL M FOR MURDER"

English, A Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Hubbard is thorough and observant, and he soon becomes suspicious of Tony's actions. Hubbard is a bit eccentric, but thoughtful and thorough. "DIAL M FOR MURDER"
