"All Shook Up" Musical Needs Performers
Theatre announces upcoming open auditions for "All Shook Up" show. Seeking cast. Please see the breakdown below. Additional info: You only need to attend one night of auditions. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song. Be prepared for a short dance audition & cold readings. If you are auditioning for a certain role, singing a song from the show is recommended. An accompanist and Bluetooth speaker will be provided. No acapella (without music) auditions. Bring a headshot & resume if you have one. PLEASE NOTE: All named characters engage in some form of staged intimacy (most involve a kiss) and ensemble roles entail some level of touch with partner dance. Natalie’s loving and supportive father. Widowed and missing a love of his own. Baritone, (A#3 - E4).
The no-nonsense owner of “Sylvia’s Honky Tonk”. Strong sense of comedic timing. Alto/Mezzo, (F3 – G5).
Natalie’s awkward best friend and secret admirer. Tenor, (A3 - G#4).
The beautiful, intellectual caretaker of the town’s museum. Unapologetically knows what she wants. Mezzo, (A3 – E5).
The town’s judgemental and rigid mayor. Enjoys being in control and telling others how to live. A strong sense of comedic timing. Alto, (Bb3 – C6).
The law in town. A man of not many words. Matilda’s right-hand man. Baritone.
