About the play: “Tiresias” is a trans telling of the myth of Tiresias, who was turned into a woman by the goddess Hera and later turned back into a man by the same goddess, in the modern setting. “Tiresias” is a story about gender euphoria and trans joy, but it also holds space for trans people’s rage and grief. It’s the show’s goal to embrace all facets of trans identity, including the many messy emotions trans people are experiencing. “Tiresias” celebrates transness in all its complexity.
