"As You Like It" Audition for the Theater

Actors sought for summer Shakespeare tour of "As You Like It". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: Synopsis: One of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, As You Like It follows the spirited Rosalind as she flees persecution at court and seeks refuge in the Forest of Arden. Disguised as a young man, she encounters a cast of colorful characters, including melancholy philosophers, lovesick shepherds, and loyal friends, while teaching the man she loves how to woo her. Full of wit, romance, mistaken identities, and joyful reunions, As You Like It is a playful exploration of love, freedom, and the transformative power of nature. Rate: Gas reimbursement is available and meals will be provided on two-show days. Additional info: Rehearsals begin starting July 7, Mondays and Thursdays from 5-8 pm (except August 4) Performances run August 20-24. Performances will be held in various locations throughout the area, including matinees on the weekends. If you are interested, please apply.
