About the show: One of Agatha Christie’s greatest novels springs to life in this thrilling new stage adaptation. Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. By morning, an American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times and with his door locked from the inside. Was it the Colonel, the Countess, the American Traveler or the Russian Princess? Or perhaps it was the English Beauty, the American Assistant, the French Conductor or the Swedish Missionary. The eccentric collection of passengers become suspects and the world-famous detective Hercule Poirot must identify the murderer before he or she decides to strike again! Additional information: Show Dates: November 14th to 23rd, 2025 (two weekends, 8 shows). To be performed in Cobourg. Rehearsals Dates: Thursday evening, 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and Sunday afternoon, 1:30pm to 6:30pm, each week, starting Sunday August 17th, 2025 in Cobourg. Tech Week: Cast will be required most evenings in the 2 weeks leading up to opening night. A schedule will be finalized closer to the date. Once you are registered, you will receive an audition packet that will include several short monologues from the script, with at least one from each character. Please choose TWO of the short monologues from this packet to prepare for your auditions. Please choose two different characters. Auditions may also consist of cold readings from the script.
