A kind and gentle young woman who dreams of escaping her cruel stepfamily and finding true love. She is initially passive but learns to make choices for herself. Vocal Range: Soprano (G3-G5)

A powerful and manipulative figure who places a curse on the Baker's family. She is complex, driven by a desire for her lost daughter, and has a powerful stage presence. Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano/Alto (F3-F5)

Charming and vain, he is obsessed with finding the mysterious woman who fled his ball. He represents the superficiality of fairy tale romance. A seductive and dangerous predator who targets Little Red Riding Hood. He is charismatic and menacing. Vocal Range: Tenor (B2-G4)

Cinderellas princes brother. Equally as vain and charming. Vocal Range: Tenor (B2-G4)

The witch's adopted daughter, kept locked in a tower. She has a beautiful voice and a yearning for freedom. Vocal Range: Soprano (C4-A5)

A weary and exasperated single mother who struggles to provide for her son. She is practical and often frustrated by Jack's naivety. Vocal Range: Alto/Mezzo-Soprano (G3-E5)

Cruel and ambitious, she is determined to see her own daughters marry the prince. Vocal Range: Alto (G3-E5)

(Cinderella's Stepsisters): Spoiled, vain, and often comical, they are desperate to marry the prince. Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano (A3-F5)

The person who sets the stage, and initially guides the audience through the story. A shadowy figure who appears throughout the story, offering cryptic advice and warnings. His true identity is revealed later. Vocal Range: Baritone (G2-E4)
