Open Roles for Actresses in "Qoatervois" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking to cast two actresses for "Qoatervois" Film. Please, see the details below. About the project: LOGLINE: An ambitious undergrad is initially thrilled to receive an acceptance offer from a prestigious masters program: but doubts begin to persist after she finds out about her best friend's expulsion. Rate: It is an unpaid student film, but food and transportation will be provided. Additional informaton: Shooting dates are June 7-8, 2025 and will be located in Mississauga. The audition process will be a self-tape, and if chosen, there will be an in-person chemistry read between the selected actors to determine who gets the role. The deadline for applications will be April 24, 2025. THIS FILM INCLUDES: a forehead kiss (one between the actresses) and hitting a box with a baseball bat (for Milla). When applying, please submit your head shot, demo reel and indicate the role you're applying for.

An ambitious yet secretly insecure undergrad. Milla is the type of person who strives to be in control all the time. and her ultimate desire is to have her parents respect her. She conspires with her girlfriend. Dezzie, to frame her best friend. Fran. for plagiarism, in order to get her acceptance offer revoked; not realizing that Fran would also get expelled.
Blunt, ruthless and easily jealous. Dezzie is Milla's girlfriend. She speaks her mind with little regard for other people's feelings, and is entitled in a way that only those who are wealthy could be. Her jealousy stems from her insecurity about not being at the top of the program. Dezzie's desire is to be number one, with little regard for who she hurts. or steps over to get what she wants.
