During her prominent years (l), Marie goes about life - navigating the realities of adulthood. As she tries to maintain face being a mother and wife, she slowly begins to lose herself in the midst. After a failed marriage and family turmoil, Marie finds escape living her life as a nomad (ll). Can right the wrongs she's made in the past, or is redemption too late?
Marie's neighborhood friends of the past: Tilda and Gabby. The two sisters befriend Marie during the summer of 1979; sharing some laughs and memories.
Marie’s Husband; a hardened man. During his prominent years, Dan had spent his time working in the military. Having served his time fighting for his country, Dan served his later years out in his next roles in life: a husband and father to Marie and her children. Over the course of their marriage, Dan and Marie struggle to find a middle ground with: parenting, lifestyle choices, and companionship; all factors that result in an unfortunate situation.
Bobby’s “drinking buddy”: A gambler with a betting drive that keeps him motivated to win-it-all, or die trying.
Marie's last love. Having kindled a new found love between them, the two escape from the life they once knew and try to start anew. Just when things seem to be alright, tragedy strikes (and forces Marie to 'wake up’ from this nightmare)!
A local friend of Bobby’s and Maries’. A down-to-earth, old-soul nomad himself. Other than having a good time drinking, he enjoys: faith, camping, and adventure.
Marie's last year. Now alone, Marie lives her life in peace; going about her days in routine - inside. During her final days, she begins to reminisce about the trials and tribulations of her past.
Supporting. Marie’s doctor. Having been Marie's aid over the past few years, Dr. Evans has made sure to make it a priority of his that she lived-out her later years - well. During a routine scheduling, Dr. Evans informs Marie's health is in question.
