ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking performers to portray roles in "A Harvest Truce" play. More details are below. About the play: The Canadian premiere of an exciting work of contemporary theatre. A drama of the Russian invasion of a town in Eastern Ukraine in 2014. Supporting the opposite sides, the inhabitants experience the apocalyptic events. As they counter each other or unite, will they find something to live for? Rate: Please note: This is a call for CAEA actors. This is a PAID opportunity. Additional information: Schedule: First Rehearsal: July 28, 2025. Performance Dates: September 2 – 7, 2025 (1 preview and 6 performances). Rehearsals: The rehearsal hours will be set later to match the actors’ schedules. Working around potential time/schedule conflicts is possible. Please note: The rehearsal process happens during the Edmonton Fringe Festival! An elder sibling. Left the house when he was young to start his own business. He comes rarely to see his family who are quite needy. Anton’s business is everything to him, he is extremely success-oriented. He doesn’t seem to have any stable principles; his philosophy is to “iron everything out”.

AUNT SHURAFemale53-57 y.o.All ethnicities

She is a former school teacher and a keeper of the whole community. She is a mysterious figure – a conductor of rituals. Usually, the only person optimistic for the future, she doesn’t see much hope for the present. Aunt Shura hates no one, she understands different people.
