Seems happy enough, but is living with a grief he’s not aware is keeping him down.
Ellie is a waitress who moonlights as a midwife. She is bold, genuine, sometimes crass, honest to a fault and exquisitely sensitive. She will explore the themes of both plays in monologues.
Kal’s father, is broken down, apologetic, and resigned to his lot in life.
Kal’s mother, is loving, kind, bright, full of energy, and died tragically young.
