About the project: Matilda: The Musical is a heartwarming and magical stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved novel. It follows the story of Matilda Wormwood, an extraordinary young girl with a brilliant mind and a vivid imagination. Despite being neglected by her cruel parents and tormented by the tyrannical headmistress Miss Trunchbull, Matilda discovers her unique telekinetic powers. With the help of her kind-hearted teacher, Miss Honey, Matilda uses her intelligence and courage to stand up against injustice and change her destiny. The musical celebrates the power of storytelling, the resilience of children, and the triumph of kindness over cruelty. Additional info: Callbacks are TBD! (Mezzo/Soprano) A graceful, ethereal figure from Matilda’s imagination. Requires lyrical singing and movement.
