So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow— but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together. Winner of the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical, The Prom expertly captures all the humor and heart of a classic musical comedy with a message that resonates with audiences now more than ever. Additional information: Performances: November 28, 29, December 4, 5, 6 at 8 PM. November 30, and December 7 at 2 PM. Location: Georgetown. Tech Week: Move In – Saturday, November 22th. Tech Rehearsals – November 23rd, 25th, 26th (off November 24th). Dress Rehearsal – November 27th. Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Fridays 7 - 10 PM. Sundays 1 - 5 PM. Beginning Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025. No rehearsal Sunday, October 12th, 2025. Auditions: Call Backs: Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at 1 PM Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 1 PM. Monday, April 7th, 2025 at 7 PM. Auditions and rehearsals held in Georgetown, ON. You will be notified by phone by April 9th if you are required for a call back. PLEASE NOTE: Not all roles will require call backs. Directors will only call back those they need to see again. However, if call backs are required for a role you are interested in, you must be available for the call back be considered for the role. Casting decisions will be made following the call backs. All those who auditioned will receive the results of their auditions by April 17th. Those who have been cast will receive results by phone.
