They may seem a little slow on the uptake, but there is a native intelligence and wry good humor that suggests active thought life. There is a casual pace to life in Door County, especially in the winter. No locals are in a hurry to get anywhere." Rate: Dinner Theatre $630 weekly minimum Additional info: Audition Lunch 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM PREPARATION Please prepare 16-bars of a song and a monologue from the play which will be provided on the morning of the audition. This monologue should be performed with a Wisconsin accent. Bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. Please also bring a headshot & resume stapled together. First Rehearsal: June 23rd Opening Night: July 11th Closing Night: Aug 30th EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided. (Bari-tenor range C3-E4, occasionally up to G4) A bachelor ice fisherman.
(Baritone range A2-E4) A moocher. The kind of guy who always says the wrong thing, maybe on purpose, maybe not. In other cultures he would be a coyote or trickster. Up here he’s just a pain in the butt. Ability to play any type of hand-held instrument that can sound goofy or sentimental a plus (harmonica, ukulele, trombone, accordion, etc)
