ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking talent for "Sister Act" The Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: Sister Act is a musical about JOY and growth and change. Please bring your joy and your authentic self to your audition. For the Nuns: We are looking, specifically, for women presenting performers who can hold complex harmonies, dance with precision and bring joy, personality and authenticity to their character. Rate: SPT 3 $491 AEA weekly minimum. Salary negotiable for certain roles. Non union and stipend salaries are not same as AEA. Housing provided. Additional info: Please have an audition song prepared in the style of the show (Disco, Gospel, Pop). Please bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16-32 bars. Please choose a section of your song that shows your vocal range. Please be prepared to dance after your audition. We have permissions to recreate the original Broadway choreography. Please bring flat shoes or sneakers; no heels. Rehearsals officially start April 8, 2025 with performances running April 25 – May 18, 2025. When forced to hide in the convent, she initially refuses to embrace her new lifestyle but learns to embrace it when she works with the choir. Loud-mouthed, and sassy, but ultimately caring. The desk chief at the Philadelphia police station and a high school classmate of Deloris who helps get her into hiding. Faces a lot of nerves when under pressure, causing him to sweat profusely.
