Singing Audition for "Something Rotten" Show
The company is holding auditions for "Something Rotten" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: What to Bring/How to Prepare: Bring a headshot with a resume (if you have one). Bring sheet music for (16-32 bars) a contemporary Broadway song that best shows off your voice and acting ability (no backing/karaoke tracks or acapella singing). You may be asked to perform a second selection. Dress to move & arrive stretched/warmed up. You may be asked to learn and perform a short piece of choreography to demonstrate your dance/movement ability. Only dance shoes, bare feet, or socks are allowed in the studio. Please bring tap shoes if you have them. A list of your conflicts for the rehearsal period (April 14 - June 12). Please be aware that conflicts may affect casting. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and fill out your Audition/Conflict form. Or use the printable version that you received when you signed up for your audition slot. Rehearsals: Begin Monday, April 14 Cast Orientation: Tuesday, April 1 at 7:00 p.m. Tech week: Sunday, June 8 through Thursday, June 12. 2025 Performances: June 13-28, 2025 1st weekend: Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, Sunday at 2 pm 2nd Weekend: Thursday and Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 2 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 p.m 3rd Weekend: Thursday and Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 2 pm and 7:30 pm.
