Male identifying: An Anglo-Saxon man in his late seventies, unpretentious, irreverent, which contradicts the usual arrogance associated with having been a successful businessman. His once full head of dark hair has given way given way to gray. He is a crossword puzzle aficionado, a peace maker.

Female identifying: Mavis’ daughter, in her late thirties, thin with a slightly nervous demeanor. A recovering drug addict who has returned home to confront her mother about the disappearance of her sister and make sense of surfacing memories.
