Directors are calling for male and female performers for the "Death of a Salesman" play. Please, see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: This timeless classic follows Willy Loman, a traveling salesman nearing the end of his career, as he struggles to reconcile his aspirations with reality. Burdened by unfulfilled dreams and familial tensions, Willy’s journey reveals deep truths about ambition, identity, and legacy. Set against a shifting backdrop of the past and present, this poignant drama delves into the fragile human spirit, the pursuit of success, and the yearning for validation. Rate: All positions are paid a stipend of $1000.00. Additional information: Callbacks happening on Feb 27th from 6:30-9:30 pm. Please prepare a one-minute monologue in the style of the show. If you do not have a monologue, a reading from the show works as well! Performances will be June 12-28,2025 at the Ground floor theatre with rehearsals beginning in late April. Loyal and loving wife of Willy. Occasionally, she seems to be taken in by Willy’s hopes for future glory and success, but at other times, she seems far more realistic and less fragile than her husband.
Happy has lived in Biff’s shadow all of his life, he has a job and is more successful than his brother.
Wise-cracking, kind neighbor of Willy. His son Bernard is the same age as Willy’s boys.
Charley’s son. He is a nerd and has always worshiped Biff. Is very successful.
Willy’s older brother. He appears to Willy in his hallucinations.
“Miss Francis,” as Willy calls her. Willy’s one-time mistress.
Willy’s boss. Sees Willy as a liability to the company.
