About the project: Based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised) follows a day in the life of Charlie Brown and his friends, including the bossy Lucy, the philosophical Linus, the music-loving Schroeder, the ever-spirited Sally, and of course, Snoopy, the imaginative beagle. This updated version of the beloved high-energy and heartwarming musical includes new songs like “My New Philosophy” and “Beethoven Day”. Additional info: Vocal Audition (Individual, 10-minute slots) No accompanist provided—please bring a backing track you have rehearsed with. A Bluetooth speaker will be available. Dance Audition (Group Session) A short dance piece will be taught, then performed in small groups. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for movement. Cold Reading (Script Sides Provided) Performers will be asked to read selected scenes from the script. Rehearsals: March 10 – April 20 Typically 3–4 days per week, 3–4 hours per rehearsal. A final schedule will be created after casting and company conflicts are noted.
