The focus is on the drama and machinations of politics, similar to House of Cards. Rate: This is a micro-budget short film. Pay is negotiable. Additional info: -Locations: Orem and Provo; -Shooting Date(s): Friday, March 14 (day, 8-3) and Saturday, March 15 (full day). He starts out as an idealist, unwilling to compromise his principles. But in countering his former boss, a campaign manager with no rules, he learns to be wily.

LEAD. The antagonist. She's the campaign manager and chief of staff for governor Ted Birch. Precise, detailed in every area of her life. Her overriding tenet is power. No law, moral, or opponent will stand in her way. Wise in all the machinations of politics. Although an amoral character, this performance should be more grounded than theatrical.

SUPPORTING – Separate shooting date, male or female. Needs to have the gravitas of a traditional news anchor, à la Lester Holt, Norah O'Donnell, or Tom Brokaw. News scenes helps to weave the audience through the events of the campaign. Will film all scenes within 2 hours – studio currently scheduled for Saturday, February 22, in afternoon in Provo (open to rescheduling, but needs to be by March 12).
