Actress Audition in "Purposelessness" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking an actress for production of "Purposelessness". More details are below. About the project: Purposelessness is an independent micro-budget feature length film that follows Cody Jankowski, a recent high school graduate who's having a hard time finding his own purpose. Slowly isolating himself from people around him and falling down a dark dangerous rabbit hole. This is a gory and dark project about toxic masculinity and the radicalized nature of algorithms and loneliness on distressed young people. Rate: Non-Union. This is a very small crew and a tiny budget so this will be a volunteer project. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) May/June. Shoot/Performance Location(s) Near UBC area. Lily Jankowski is the mother to the main character Cody. She's an emotionally immature single mother stressed out trying juggle her own life while trying to be present in her sons. After Cody graduates high school all his friends go off to University. She feels frustrated that he doesn't show any ambition and only becomes more frustrated as she watches him sit on the couch and doom scroll as his alternative to university.
