About the project: Logline: Zara hatches a quirky plan with her two best friends, Amy and Geeta to get with the man of her dreams, Adrien. Yet, Geeta’s pursuance of the same man results in the cracks of their friendship coming to light, as Amy and Geeta come into their own individuality, distancing themselves from Zara. Rate: Volunteer work. Once film is completed, you will get a copy for your demo reel. Lunch and snacks will be provided on set. Additional information: Shooting Dates: March 1-3 2025. South Asian. Zara's best friend, graduated a semester earlier than her friends. Curious to explore, yet lost, she is harrowed and hassled by her family's demand of an arranged marriage. Geeta indulges in a night of drinking and plans of hooking up as she drowns out the noise of her parents' demands and Zara's begging for a "wingwoman".
The referee of the group, is hiding the secret of a big move to Mumbai from her girls, wanting to capture the last few moments she has with her two best friends. She's nerdy. non confrontational, and only ever means well.
South Asian. A young woman who will become a high school grad in a few hours. An alt, weird girl, who has come to accept the identity of a side character to her more conventionally attractive best friend, Geeta. Zara dons a "soldier like" intensity and quickness for the night as her plans to woo her crush, Adrien, take precedence over all other activities for the night.
