ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking cast to play roles in a short film "Magic Boats". More details are below. About the project: This is a short film that will be shot over the course of one to two days. Magic Boats is about three friends who are on a sailing trip over the weekend. Their goal is to buy some magic mushrooms for the evening. Rory who owns the boat is an anxious guy who can be horrible at making decisions, however under pressure, he acts fast and swiftly. Elise is a massive stoner hippy who lives the true island life. She takes life one step at a time with a light-heartedness that becomes panicked in times of crisis. Simon is a screen-addicted guy who is barely connected to nature. the themes of the short explore our current societies' relationship to nature and technology. Rate: Non-Union.
