About the muscal: The world premiere of a holiday musical for the whole family based on Stuart McLean’s beloved Vinyl Cafe stories. The musical weaves together some of McLean’s most popular stories, such as: “Dave Cooks the Turkey” and “Rashida, Amir and the Great Gift-Giving” into a hilarious celebration of the highs and lows of the holiday season and the importance of community and family. Additional information: EDMONTON CONTRACT DATES: Rehearsal Starts: Tuesday, October 14, 2025. First preview: Saturday, November 8, 2025. Opening: Thursday, November 13, 2025. Closing: Sunday, November 30, 2025. Option to Extend: December 2 to 7, 2025. THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR EDMONTON IS FEBRUARY 20. When applying, please submt a head shot and a resume. He/Him. South Asian. Rashida’s husband. An Art History Professor with a tender heart who loves to experience all types of food. Amir impatiently seeks to “fit in” in his new home. Vocal Range: A2 to G4.
