Non Equity Talent Needed for "These Shining Lives" Show
The company is holding auditions for "These Shining Lives" show and looking for actors, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: This is a non-equity production. Additional info: Please prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue. It can be either comedic or dramatic – whatever you think highlights you best. (If you do not have a monologue prepared, please select a favorite excerpt from a play and familiarize yourself with it. It does not need to be memorized. Just have fun with it!) Callbacks will be by invitation only, and you will be asked to read sides from the script and perform with other actors. Please apply if interested.

Charlotte is a rebel with a heart of gold, if she'll let you in. She's tough as nails, sarcastic, and saucy. She's a fierce friend. Should be comfortable singing. Plays multiple roles.
Frances is the moral backbone of the group, fortified with empathy and love. She's the first to clutch her pearls, but then accept you with a warm hug. Should be comfortable singing. Plays multiple roles.
Pearl's your girl if you want to hear a joke... a bad joke. She's silly, full of love and laughter, and a great friend. Should be comfortable singing. Plays multiple roles.
Catherine's loving, doting, and sincere husband. Tom works hard and is a good man, albeit a product of his time. Has moments of intimacy and kissing with Catherine.* Plays multiple roles.
Mr. Reed is a company-man. He is fond of the Dial Painters, but takes his job seriously. He sympathizes with them, but remains loyal to his employers. Plays multiple roles.
