Performers Needed for Production of "Rumor"
The company is holding auditions for "Rumor" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Four couples arrive at the townhouse of a deputy New York City mayor and his wife to attend a party celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary. However, the four couples soon discover that there are no servants, the hostess is missing, and the deputy mayor has shot himself in the head (it's only a flesh wound). Comic complications arise when, given everyone's upper-class status, they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening's events from the local police and the media. Additional info: Sunday rehearsals ~10am-1pm Tech week M-F evenings week of show Rehearsals begin Feb 2 You will need to prepare a short comedic monologue 1-2 minutes in length and you will be asked to read sides from the show with the panel.
