The doe-eyed-dame who reports her younger brother, James, missing and tags along with Jack on his case. She's the poster girl of a beloved god fearing family. Beautiful, sweet and deceitful. Jack's first lead. 4 scenes, 10 lines, 15 speeches. GUEST STAR, (recurring if greenlit).
A sultry server at Mom’s Pop Shop. She can fix anything, including your heart, if you’ll let her. Grounded, warm, confident. Punching way below her weight class. 1 scene, 2 lines, ACTOR. (recurring if greenlit with a larger role).
The beloved incumbent owner of Mom’s Pop Shop. Cal’s Mom started the pop shop in the 60s. Cal has been grandfathered in. He’s chipper, always ready to listen, offer advice and ALWAYS has his finger on the pulse in town. Cal’s on a life long quest to create the world’s most delicious donut, and convince Jack to try it. 1 scene, 9 speeches, 2 lines, IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE. (recurring if greenlit).
Twin to Adeline. The Reynolds twins are the fit grannies of the town. Decked out in nearly matching head to toe “Jane Fonda-esk” apparel. Power walking their way through the streets on their daily morning jaunts. Partially for health, mostly for reconnaissance. Some of the power goes to their legs, everything else goes to their heads. The Reynolds twins know everything about Lethbridge, past and present. If you want the “T” they’ve got it. 1 scene, 16 lines, PRINCIPLE. (recurring if greenlit)
Twin to Abigail. She’s one minute younger than her sister. Still decked out in nearly matching head to toe “Jane Fonda-esk” apparel. (recurring if greenlit).
A grungy, gothic metal-head wearing all black, sporting chains and dark eye makeup. Very tall, 6’4” or higher is possible. 1 scene, No lines, ACTOR.
Troy Bernard and James Johnston's High School science teacher. Ted answers some questions for Jack regarding James’ disappearance. A good teacher, a bit strict but one who cares deeply for his students. On the surface, Ted is very helpful, but once Jack leaves we learn there's something more going on with Mr. Daniel’s. 3 scenes, 12 lines, 19 speeches, GUEST STAR. (recurring if greenlit).
Mr. Matthew Johnston is the shining example of patriarchy firing on all cylinders through the lens of religious faith in small town Lethbridge. On the surface, he's a model citizen, a glowing husband, a generous community member and a mentor to young children. However, underneath it all, he's a puppet master. Controlling, intelligent, manipulative, domineering, unforgiving and spiritually bound to upholding his dogma to a fault. 2 scenes, 5 lines, 8 speeches. PRINCIPLE. (recurring if greenlit).
Troy Bernard’s mother. She’s not so strict about things unless the Johnston’s are around. The Bernard’s and the Johnston’s are connected because Mr. Johnston and Mr. Bernard grew up together. The Bernard’s never quite rose to the prominence of the Johnston’s and so there’s a bit of the “keeping up with the Jones’” mentality. Mrs. Bernard falls prey to Mr. Johnston’s manipulation and then betrays Troy against her better judgment. 1 scene, 1 line, ACTOR. (recurring if greenlit).
If Mary met Joseph today and they had a girl it would be Maggie Johnston. She’s the picture of a “man’s” perfect wife. Loyal, obedient, fertile, beautiful and homesteading. Mrs. Johnston has succumbed to her husband’s dominance and has either fully given herself over to him or is so deeply brainwashed that she doesn’t know right from wrong. 1 scene, 3 lines, 8 speeches. PRINCIPLE. (recurring if greenlit).
This Detective detains Jack and leads him outside. He’s cold, forceful and unapologetic. 1 scene, 1 line. ACTOR. (possibly recurring).
Detective Owens was one of Professor Jack Dawson's star students before Jack was fired after being framed in the past. Jack expects sympathy from Owens when being arrested but someone has gotten to Owens and he's unresponsive to Jack's pleading. 1 scene, 1 line, ACTOR. (recurring if greenlit).
Possibly Jack’s former lover. Definitely his business partner. Handsome, sweet, mysterious. 1 scene. No lines. ACTOR. (recurring if greenlit).
