Theater Casting Call for "Book of Ashes" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently looking for performers for production of "Book of Ashes". More details are below. About the play: “A young boy, a librarian, and their efforts to save their beloved books from a terrible fate. The Book of Ashes tells the story of Amir, Alia and their families, set against the backdrop of the 2003 Iraq war.” Rate: This is a professional, paid opportunity. Additional information: Will require daytime availability between the contract dates of March 10 - April 24, 2025. MUST be available for rehearsals within HRM. Actors MUST identify as Middle Eastern and/or Arab to be considered for these roles, except Puppeteer which is open to any ethno-cultural identity. MUST be available for rehearsals within HRM.
