About the project: Based on the smash hit film, Sister Act is a heavenly musical comedy that proves nothing can stand in the way of sisterhood! Disco diva Deloris dreams of fame and fortune, but is she prepared for the way she receives it? Songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, including “Take Me to Heaven,” “Fabulous, Baby!,” and “Raise Your Voice,” this score is sure to raise your spirits. The grand finale to the 2024-25 season promises to be divine! Rate: Compensation for this production will be 2 comp tickets per performer. Additional info: Callbacks (if needed): Tuesday, February 18 at 6:00 PM Please be prepared to: Sing 16 to 20 bars of a musical theatre song of your choice (Approx. 30-60 seconds max). You may sing a song from the show if you would like. Please be aware that you will be cut off after 16 to 20 bars. You must sing with our provided accompaniment or with a device you provide. No a cappella auditions will be allowed. You may be asked to sing scales by our accompanist. Complete a dance audition, taught by the show choreographer (dress appropriately) Read provided selections from the script Be prepared to fill out a conflict sheet at auditions (be as specific as possible about conflicts throughout the rehearsal period) A virtual audition option is available for those who may be out of the area at the time of auditions. Rehearsals will begin the week of March 31. Tech week will be from Saturday, April 19 through Thursday, April 24, 2025. No absences will be accepted during tech week or performances. Performances April 25, 26, May 2, 3, 9, 10, 2025 at 7:30 PM April 27, May 4, 10, 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM Please make sure you can fully commit to the rehearsal period and performance schedule before auditioning. You must be willing to make the show a priority.

When forced to hide in the convent, she initially refuses to embrace her new lifestyle but learns to embrace it when she works with the choir. Loud-mouthed, and sassy, but ultimately caring. The head of the convent, sarcastic and a bit stiff. Extremely protective about keeping her sisters away from the outside world, which puts her in direct opposition to Deloris and her musical teachings. Vocal range top: E5 Vocal range bottom: D3

The desk chief at the Philadelphia police station and a high school classmate of Deloris who helps get her into hiding. Faces a lot of nerves when under pressure, causing him to sweat profusely.
