About the project: The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination! Additional info: Preparation: Everyone will have 60 seconds for their audition. If you would like to be considered for any lead or featured role, you must sing at your audition. Songs should be contemporary or in a rock and roll style. Please feel free to sing a song from the show. Monologues are welcome, but not a priority. If you choose to sing and perform a monologue, you do not get additional time. Please come dressed to move as there will be a brief dance audition which will be taught to you at the audition. These are COMPETITIVE auditions. It is likely that not all who audition will be cast. Callbacks will be Saturday, February 15 at 10 a.m. You will be informed before you leave your initial audition if you are needed at callbacks. Rehearsals: Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:30 - 9 pm and Saturday mornings 10 am - 1 pm starting March 1. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled by mutual agreement with the production team.
