Casting Sam - The Series Season 1, Episode 1 This is a non-union project filming in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for local hire. Sam is an episodic series (8 episodes in Season 1). The expected duration is not set in stone, as we are still in the process of casting. We expect filming for SEASON 1 EPISODE 1 to begin in MARCH. The series is dark, grounded, and cinematic; rooted in ancient themes but set in a contemporary world. Think modern mythology, blending the mystery of The Leftovers with the tension of The Da Vinci Code. Every episode builds on Biblical undertones, unravelling truths through a modern lens. A young man with superhuman strength is haunted by fragmented dreams and questions about his origins. Working as a biostatistician at Bio-Cross Industries, led by the enigmatic Jakob Cross, Sam suspects the company’s cutting-edge research hides a darker purpose.
