Talent Wanted for Upcoming Singing Audition
Seeking male and female talent to perform in the"Footloose" musical. Please see the details below. Additional info: All auditioning should prepare a 90-second or shorter song cut from a contemporary musical or from an 80's or 90's style pop. You must provide your own karaoke/backing track. No accompanist will be provided. All should also be prepared to perform a short dance call that will be taught at the audition. Wear appropriate attire. Callbacks will be held the weekend of January 11th if needed. Show Dates: March 15, 22 at 7:30 pm; March 16, 23 at 2 pm; (No Friday shows). If interested, please apply.

(Lead): Tenor. Energetic, emotional, rebellious, likeable; emotes his pain through quirky sarcasm and dance; strong dancer.
(Lead): Baritone. The powerful, traditional local church leader; strict, stern, and solemn, still struggling with the death of his son.
(Lead): Mezzo-Pop. Smart, a bit of the bad girl with an edge, sweet, the rebellious minister’s daughter; role requires strong belt, must be a strong singer/dancer.
(Supporting): Soprano. Reverend Moore’s loving, supportive, resilient wife.
(Supporting): Great soprano/pop voice. Ariel’s friend; a bit scatterbrained, sweet, fun, knows everything about everything; role requires strong belt, strong comedic timing and dance.
(Supporting): Tenor. A simple country bumpkin with a warm heart and a big smile; comedic timing and dance a must.
(Supporting): Soprano. Ren’s mother; had a tough go, just trying to make it…would do anything for her son.
(Supporting): The local bad boy and Ariel’s boyfriend.
(Supporting): Mezzo/Alto. Ariel’s friend; the smart one of the group; role requires strong belt, comedic timing, and dance.
