The Last Five Years
Audition Submission Details: Auditions will be held via virtual submission. To audition, please: -Submit a video performing 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song that showcases your vocal range and emotional depth. Songs from The Last Five Years are acceptable but not required. -Prepare and record two contrasting monologues (no longer than 90 seconds each): one dramatic and one comedic, highlighting your versatility as an actor. -Attach a headshot and resume to your submission email. -Include your name and “The Last Five Years Audition” in the subject line of your submission email. He is passionate, self-assured, and at times arrogant, with a natural charm and vulnerability that make him both lovable and flawed. The role requires strong singing skills to perform emotionally charged and vocally demanding songs and excellent acting skills to portray a wide range of emotions. Must be comfortable with emotionally intense material, comedic timing, and dynamic solo performances.
