About the project: A short film that will complement educational modules for UBCO nursing students aimed at developing standards of patient care for IBPOC and 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities. Synopsis: Amelia is a 21-year-old international student who seeks emergency healthcare at a hospital. She shares her experiences, both good and bad, with the healthcare system. Rate: Transportation to and from the location will not be provided. This is a low-budget production and budget will be determined upon funding. Lunch will be provided. Additional information: The filming is Scheduled for THURSDAY, Feb 12, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm and will be held in Lake Country, BC. Submission deadline: Jan 31, 2025.
