Audition for "Guys And Dolls". Looking for men and women. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: All roles are paid. Actors are paid per show + a rehearsal stipend. Additional info: Submissions are due by Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1 pm. Callbacks will be held in person at the Anderson residence located at 420 S Lindsay Spring Rd on Saturday, Dec 7 from 2 - 5 pm. There will be reading, singing, and dancing at the callbacks. Please bring your own music tracks or be prepared to sing acapella. If you are chosen to attend callbacks, directors will also send you a video of a brief dance combo to learn in advance. REHEARSALS: Typically, Tues and Thurs nights (7-9:30 pm) and a few Sat afternoons (2-5 pm). Tentative dates: Dec 10, 12, 17, 19, then Jan 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25. TECH /DRESS will runon Jan 28, 29, 39, 31, and February 3, 4, 5, and 6. SHOW DATES: February 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 March 7, 8, 14, and 15. THE SHOW: Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, this Guys and Dolls is an award-winning classic that gambles with luck and love under the bright lights of Broadway. A pretty, bright-eyed woman who serves as Sergeant of the local Mission. She fully believes in her worthy cause and wishes to convert the gambling sinners to saints. A New York police officer who is on to Nathan's illegal craps games and is dead-set on catching him. A tough, no-nonsense character.
