Performers Needed for Theatre Audition "Ring Of Fire"

Video auditions for "Ring Of Fire" show. Seeking Equity and Non-Equity actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. About the project: From the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique musical Ring of Fire about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. More than two dozen classic hits—including “I Walk The Line,” “A Boy Named Sue,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” and the title tune—performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man in Black and salutes the legend and the Americana music he championed. Though he is never impersonated, Johnny Cash’s remarkable life story is told through his music, climaxing in a concert that will both move and exhilarate! Rate: All roles are paid at $375 per week. Additional info: This is an Equity SPT1 theater. REQUIRED: Strong musicians who can sing and act, adept at playing at least 1 instrument: acoustic and/or electric guitar, upright bass, Ubass and/or electric bass, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, accordion, piano, drums, cajon, various percussion, autoharp, harmonica, cornet, other non-traditional stringed instruments…Basically anything! Bring it – they’ll incorporate it. Callbacks: Jan 13th, 2025 – 6 PM-10 PM First rehearsal: April 7, 2025 Opening night: Friday, May 9th, 2025 Closing: Sunday, June 29, 2025 Show times: Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2 PM When applying, please include a brief cut of a song sung and played in the style of the show or a Johnny Cash song. If you play several instruments, please play them in a few cuts of the song. When you introduce yourself please tell what kind of experience you have in terms of instrumentation or with bands/pits and any experience of Johnny Cash or country music.
