About the project: Genre: Drama, Short Synopsis: Forough, an Iranian intern at a real estate firm, attends a party at her boss’s home. She’s accused of stealing missing cash, but the drunken party laughs it off as a joke. Yet, the accusations keep coming back as playful jabs, making her uneasy. Midway through the evening, Forough discovers the cash in her purse. Panicking, she hides it in a drawer as her boss passes by, then rejoins the group. Finally, Forough learns the cash was planted in her purse as a cruel prank to test her reaction. As the eclipse shines above, she realizes the painful truth: she may never bridge the divide between herself and these people, leaving her with a lingering sense of humiliation. Rate: $70 – $140/ day Additional info: It is a dialogue-heavy film. Director needs to make sure you can deliver dialogues. 4 days 12-hour shooting, early January (or less likely late December). Dates TBD upon the cast and crew’s schedule. Likely weekends.
