Theater Casting Call for "Riverbank Tales" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALLENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are seeking four performers for upcoming Theatre for Young Audiences production "Riverbank Tales". More details are below. About the play: "Riverbank Tales: A Mermaid Adventure" is a charming new play for young audiences, written and directed by Seanna Kennedy. The play features a mermaid with a gift for storytelling and her three river otter besties as they tell stories about her mermaid friends from around the world using humour, music, puppetry and other theatre magic! Rate: This is a non-union, paid production. Additional information: All rehearsals, performances and promo will take place in Brockville, Ontario. If you live outside of the area, housing may be provided for the duration of the contract. On Site Promo Photo Day January 23 & 24 Rehearsals- February 8th - 28th 2025 (5 days a week). Performance Dates - March 1st to 16th 2025 (2 performances each day, show is approximately 45 minutes long, with a brief meet and greet afterward). The first round of auditions will be by self tape. Callbacks will take place December 11-15 in person in Brockville, or by video call. Submission deadline: November 29th.
