Non Union Performers Needed for "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" Show
Seeking local non-union actors who sing and dance for the 25th Season musical "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: All roles will be paid. Additional info: Rehearsals will begin mid-March with performances April 11 - May 11, 2025. Please sing an excerpt no longer than 90 seconds of an up-tempo contemporary musical theatre song that demonstrates both your singing and acting skills.Please slate your audition video with your full name and the role for which you are auditioning. Film your audition in front of a simple background with no backlighting and little ambient noise. If possible, use a secondary audio source to play the accompaniment music so that it is audible in the tape. Submissions are due by Sunday, December 1, 2024. Baritenor. Lawrence's French assistant. Official and mostly serious, he has a light‐hearted nature and a quirky sense of humor. Has a romance with Muriel. Dialect: French. Vocal range: F2‐F4
Alto. A wealthy and attractive American socialite from Nebraska, she one of Lawrence's victims and Andre's subsequent love interest. Dialects: Omaha, Nebraska/General American. Vocal range: E3‐C5
Mezzo‐Alto. An American heiress from Oklahoma and the "Princess of Petroleum," she is very eager, optimistic, and energetic. Blend of a southern firecracker and a southern belle. Dialect: Southern. Vocal range: A3‐D5
All genders, various ages, vocal ranges, and dialects. Will be playing multiple roles, such as tourists/citizens, maids/butlers/wait staff, business roles, con artist victims, and atmospheric individuals. There are multiple opportunities for featured/solo singing, dance, and dialogue moments.
