Actors needed for "The Spitfire Grill" show. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: "A troubled young parolee yearning for a fresh start follows her dreams to Wisconsin, based on a page from an old travel book, only to find a small town with a gritty heart aching with longing and regret. Unexpectedly discovering the healing power of community while working at the Spitfire Grill, Percy reawakens the entire town’s capacity for rebirth, forgiveness and hope. Set to a melodic folk-inspired score, The Spitfire Grill is a joyous celebration of human kindness." Additional info: Video submissions will NOT be accepted, live in-person auditions only. WHAT TO BRING: - Resume, or list of previous theatre roles and experience. - Headshot, if available (don’t go get one just for this). - List of rehearsal conflicts. Please review all pertinent dates. Availability will be a key factor in casting. - Alternatively, you can provide these ahead of time on online audition form. WHAT TO PREPARE: see the document attached. REHEARSALS: Begin based on cast availability in early to mid-December, then will ramp up with more regularity after the new year in January. All rehearsals Sunday-Thursday 7:30 pm-10:30 pm. Tech week is Sunday February 2 - Thursday February 6. Absolutely no conflicts permitted during tech week. PERFORMANCES: 8 pm on February 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, & March 1(2-show day) 2 pm on February 16 & 23, March 1 (2-show day), and March 2 Absolutely no performance conflicts permitted.
