WHAT TO PREPARE: Come prepared with TWO contrasting selections to sing that showcase your ability to act:- ONE 32 bar cut (approximately one minute thirty seconds) of a MUSICAL THEATRE SONG that deals with the topic of love (yearning, longing, being in love, falling out of love, heartbreak, want, desire, et cetera.)- ONE 16-32 bar cut (one minute to one minute thirty seconds) of a contrasting MUSICAL THEATRE SONG of your choosing or an IRISH FOLK SONG. Actors may be asked to demonstrate an Irish dialect or perform a selection from an Oscar Wilde poem upon request. Please note that you are required to provide piano vocal sheet music to our pianist for BOTH cuts. Invited movement call and callbacks: December 8 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The local butcher who is the usual star of Alfie's productions and loves to boast about it. The most socially and morally conservative member of the community and secretary of the church’s sodality. Miss Oona Crowe is a spinster and the company costume designer who also fancies herself a very experienced actress. Mrs. Patrick is the mother of three children, she is a company member of the players and active in the church sodality. Also, she is secretly having an affair—with Robbie. Ernie is an accountant and the company set designer and props master. Peter is the young stagehand with the players who sees the future in Rock and roll. Sully is currently unemployed and making his debut with the St. Imelda’s Players. Father Kenney is the parish priest who runs St. Imelda’s Church where the players perform. Mrs. Maureen Curtin an actor in the company and the choreographer. Was a “child star” and is since married with nine children. Loves to get out of the house and onto the stage.
