"The Bodyguard" Synopsis: Former CIA agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, is hired to protect singing superstar Rachel Marron. Her life is under threat from a disturbed stalker who will go to any lengths to terrify and kill the singer. However, Rachel is initially unaware of her predicament and she clashes with Frank from the start. They each expect to be in charge, but what they don’t expect is to fall in love. As anger turns to passion, Frank finds his role compromised and he realizes that he must call time on their burgeoning relationship in order to do his job effectively. Despite the star’s heartbreak and anger, Frank puts his own life on the line in order to protect Rachel and her young son, Fletcher. After killing Rachel’s sister in a case of mistaken identity, the stalker takes one final chance to murder Rachel. Frank must rely on all his instincts to save the life of the woman he loves. Rehearsals begin: January 20th - March 13th; Monday - Thursday 7 pm -11 pm; Sunday 12 pm - 4 pm. Performances: March 14 - March 30th; Friday, Saturday & Sunday; One Mandatory Wednesday Matinee. March 26th. 2. "Sister Act" Synopsis: Deloris Van Cartier is an aspiring singer in Philadelphia, where she is auditioning to perform at her gangster boyfriends' nightclub. Deloris believes that Curtis is going to introduce her to a big producer, but is upset when he tells her she is not ready. Hurt and rejected, Deloris decides to break up with him, but when she goes to find him she accidentally sees him kill one of his cronies. Deloris runs to the police, who place her in hiding at a convent until Curtis is brought to trial. At first, Deloris feels as though it will be the worst thing in the world, chafing against the constraints of convent life and an immovable Reverend Mother, but once she is introduced to the struggling choir at the convent, everything changes. She finds that many of the nuns at the convent are not that different from her, and that they are quite fun to be around. They help give her a bigger purpose in her life, showing her a genuine love and affection that was missing prior to her arrival at the convent. Sister Act is a joyous show that uses music to bring different communities, and lifestyles, together. Rehearsals begin: July 28th - September 18th; Monday - Thursday 7 pm -11 pm; Sunday 12 pm - 4 pm. TECH WEEK WILL CONSIST OF ONE 12HR REHEARSAL AND ONE 9HR REHEARSAL Performances: SEPTEMBER 19TH - OCTOBER 5TH; Friday, Saturday & Sunday; One Mandatory Wednesday Matinee; SEPTEMBER 24TH. "The Bodyguard" (Lead) A former C.I.A agent, physically fit, lithe and athletic; sharp witted and instinctive; handsome and charismatic. He radiates a silent strength, an American alpha male type. Frank sings one song in a karaoke style. He need not be a major singer, just have confidence to sing in front of a theatre audience.
"The Bodyguard" (Supporting) Mezzo-Soprano Rachel’s older sister, a very talented singer who has taken a back seat to her sister’s rising star. Quiet type but attractive. Must be a very strong singer. Nicki must have a very soulful, gospel-tinged voice. She sings ballads in the show and should have a warm resonance, excellent pitch and an ability to riff.
"The Bodyguard" (Supporting) Rachel Marron’s long-standing Manager/Guardian Angel. He has looked after her from the start and runs her life. A kind a and loyal man who always has Rachel’s best interest at heart.
"The Bodyguard" (Supporting) Rachel Marron’s security, broad shoulders, narrow hips, classic bouncer physique. He is fiercely protective of Rachel and would do anything for her. A kind man.
"The Bodyguard" (Supporting) Rachel’s publicist. He is deeply ambitious and doesn’t; suffer fools or indeed anyone who isn’t doing exactly what he wants. His belief is that the whole Oscar nomination for Rachel is because of his hard work and his alone. He believes he is her driving force.
"The Bodyguard" (Supporting) Tenor Rachel Maron’s stalker, military type, weird, outcast; should be able to sing comfortable in a tenor range; has one featured solo vocal line.

When forced to hide in the convent, she initially refuses to embrace her new lifestyle but learns to embrace it when she works with the choir. Loud-mouthed, and sassy, but ultimately caring. Vocal range top: F#5, Vocal range bottom: E3
"Sister Act" The head of the convent, sarcastic and a bit stiff. Extremely protective about keeping her sisters away from the outside world, which puts her in direct opposition to Deloris and her musical teachings.
"Sister Act" A postulant, abandoned as a baby and raised at the convent. Shy and soft spoken but singing with Deloris lets her find her voice. Her wallflower lifestyle has made her live a shell of a life. Vocal range top: A5, Vocal range bottom: F#3
"Sister Act" A nun of the convent. Consistently perky, enthusiastic, and easily excitable.
