Theater Casting Call for "One for the Pot" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of performers for production of "One for the Pot". More details are below. About the play: Jonathan Hardcastle’s friend Samuel Hickory Wood has passed away, and he wants to leave 10,000 pounds to Samuel’s son Billy. Not knowing where Billy is, he has placed an ad in the paper to find him, but omits the proviso that no one can claim the money if Samuel has more than one child. Billy and his friend Charlie turn up to claim the inheritance, but are derailed when Billy’s twin, Rupert, also shows up. Things go even further awry when their triplet, Michael, arrives. Now Charlie must keep the assorted Hickory Woods concealed from Jonathan in order to sign the deal. But with Billy’s wife Winnie on the hunt for him, and Jonathan’s daughter Cynthia and his sister Amy and their suiters complicating matters, it’s a madhouse of slamming doors, secret drawers, and mistaken identities. Written by Ray Cooney and Tony Hilton. Rate: Non-Union. This is a NON-EQUITY production. Volunteer. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) March 27 to April 12, 2025.
