The company is holding auditions for "Steel Magnolias" show and looking for performers, please see the details below. Rate: There is no pay for this production. Additional info: Performances: January 10-25, 2025 Please arrive no later than one hour before the scheduled end time. Callbacks are scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, 6:30-9:30pm. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. A resume and headshot are not required, but they are recommended.

Owner of a small-town beauty shop. A Southern Belle who knows everyone’s business and will share it with anyone who will listen. She always has advice, and it often comes in the form of country sayings.
Mother of Shelby. She can be over-protective and finds the need to have a firm grasp on the world at all times. She is a busy woman who worries too much.
Very shy hairdresser, about 20 years old. She goes from a very soft-spoken person to an outspoken, bible-loving Christian with her heart on her sleeve.
About 25-year-old woman, the prettiest girl in town and loved by all. She is notably living with diabetes. She has a push-pull relationship with her mother, and she often rebels just for the sake of rebellion.
Approximately 60-year-old widow of the former mayor. She is wealthy and knows everyone’s business. She is sarcastic and loves to laugh, often poking fun at the little things others cry over. She is very close with Ouiser.
She is the same age as Clairee. She is a wealthy old bitty and miserable, although loveably so. Her unique personality and sense of humor are welcome reliefs. She is very close to Clairee.
