About the project: An edgy and sly, film-noir inspired comedy that follows a journalist investigating the shocking murder of a celebrity who collapsed in an art gallery surrounded by champagne-sipping socialites. Eccentric lawyers, cryptic poets, and scheming politicians attempt to waylay the investigator’s crusade to uncover truth in a world more interested in gossip. Rate: Volunteer. Additional information: Warning: Mature Language. Show Dates: March 13-16, 2025. Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, December 4 – 18 and January 4 – March 8, 2025. Line Read: For those who are selected for the cast, the first line read of the play (and handing out scripts) will take place Saturday, November 30, 2024, in the afternoon.
