About the project: The year is 1933 and four friends set out to prove to Canada that hockey isn’t just a sport for men. But with the Great Depression weighing heavily on the nation and political tensions rising in Europe, can they overcome the odds, and people’s expectations, to forge their own path to glory? Inspired by the true story of the Preston Rivulettes and brimming with music of the jazz age, Glory proves that a woman’s place is on home ice. Don’t miss this thrilling hockey story for the whole family. Rate: $100 stipend Additional info: PERFORMANCE DATES: Runs weekends January 17 to February 9, with a Monday Pay-What-You-Can performance on January 27. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin December 1st. They'll be scheduled evenings Monday through Thursday, with Saturday and Sunday times TBD. Whenever possible Actors will be scheduled on an as needed basis. No rehearsals December 23-26, 30, 31, January 1, 2.
